When an old friend from high school asked if we’d make a trip to take pictures of her rustic wedding in Parishville, New York this past October, we jumped at the opportunity. Besides, there’s nothing better than seeing old friends and shooting an event you truly care about and want to witness.
Mark and Brittany are just a pretty awesome couple of people, separately and together. Brittany is incredibly talented (no offense, Mark) and did a ton of work prepping her wedding in addition to mention wrangling two small kids! It all turned out beautifully. All of the centerpieces were made of wine bottles hand painted by Brittany in the days leading up to the wedding — it was a touch that was both wonderfully personal and gorgeous to look at. Mark’s most visual contribution was in the selection of boutineers that used empty shotgun shells to hold a single rose.
Needless to say, the entire ceremony, in-between, and reception were a blast and it was great to see such a happy couple tying the knot amid an outpouring of family and friends. Check out the photos from this rustic wedding in Parishville!
